Lolita blog carnival: If I had a lolita themed cafe...

My lolita cafe

My lolita teahouse would be rather the eccentric place. The decor woul feature old tapestry designs, mismatched antique chairs and tables and dolls, teddy bears and other old oddities. My teasets would be as eclectic as the decor.

The menu would feature differents  sorts of sweet treats, chocolate deligths and salty snacks, and of course tea in many many blends, classic and new. It could be had either brewed to pefection in a pot or in a samovar. My menu would change with the seasons to match the current ambience. During summer strawberries and fresh fruit, spice cakes and ginger breads during winter.

The wait staff would wear simple coordinates of black and white one pieces and victorianesque shoes with their choice of simple headwear and maybe aprons to protect the clothes against spills.

Some Etsy picks.

Neckwarmer  I chose this one because currently I am having a terrible cold and having somethin like this would be certainly lovely. It is also very cute and appropriate to the coming autumn and winter days. And yes I am talking about those in the middle of summer.

Green knigth dress by I do declare. I have liked this dress since it first came out but have always found something else to buy. Well maybe someday I will pick this one up too.

An epic hat I happen to love epic hat and this one certainly is epic. The feathers give it a nice old wordly look which would make it a gorgeus addition to any Gothic lolita or aristocrat look.

Necklace with a skull because did you really think we would get away with a post without atleast one skull themed accessory. Anyways I love skulls. They are macabre, charming and beautiful in an otherworldly way and thusly this necklace is one of my picks for today.

Pumpkin teapot Isn't it fairytale like? I simply love the whimsicalness of this teapot. It would look perfect in any somewhat mad hatter-type or Harry Potter themed teaparty.

Doll house

Nukkekotini on noidanmökki jota asuttaa rouva Amalia Sääskimäki, kuuluisasta Sääskimäen noitasuvusta. Hän on erinomaisen lahjakas juomien keittäjä ja tällä hertkellä huolehtii neiti Keijuheinän terveydestä. Hänen lisäkseen mökin vakiasukkaita ovat kissa Hassutassu ja hra Hämähäkki.

My doll house is a witch's home who's occupant is madame Amalia Mosquihill from the famous witch family of Mosquihill. She is and excellent potionmaker and is currently taking care of the health of miss Fairyweed. Other occupants of the cabine are cat Sillypaws and mister Spider.

Devil is on the details.

Devil is on the details, sanotaan. On jännittävää miten jokaisella esineellä näissä kuvissa on tarina, joka on minulle tärkeä. On mummin vanhoja teekuppeja, nukkeja tädin japanin matkoilta, kortti ystävältä, nalle Australiasta vuosien takaa, ruusun terälehtiä rakastetulta...

They say devil's on the details. It is rather exciting how everything in these pictures has a story, which means a lot to me. Grand mother's old teacups, dolls from aunt's Japan travels, a cord from a friend, a teddy bear from Australia surviving decades, rose petals from a beloved...
